Happy Friday!!
This week has been CRAZY! I graduated college, moved back to Illinois, and now I’m currently in the process of moving into a new house closer to Chicago. On top of all of that, I’ve been sick the last few days so I’ve been very tired and unmotivated. However, I’m starting to feel better again so I’m back at it!!
While running errands for my new home, I stopped at a thrift store that my mom always used to shop at. It’s called Clothes Mentor and it consists of gently used name-brand clothing. I love hunting for pieces in these stores because it’s so rewarding when you find something you really love for a low price.
This store usually has good deals, but on this day they offered 70% off their entire store since they were moving locations! I ended up finding 5 new pieces for my wardrobe for only $22!! That’s like getting each piece for only $4.40. How crazy is that?!
I was able to snag these pink seersucker Ann Taylor pants:
This summer blue J. Crew dress:
This Daniel Rainn jacket that is PERFECT for going out on the weekends:
This Ann Taylor sequin top that will look so cute with light blue jeans:
This EXPRESS peplum sparkly top that’s perfect for the office:
If you’ve thought about thrift shopping but are unsure, give it a try. You never know what you will find! I love going to thrift stores and finding pieces that I love before I go to other retail stores and pay full price. Name brand clothing is usually constructed with very high quality in mind so even if it’s gently used, it’s still going to last you a long time.
I hope that you have a great weekend!!
