It’s still INSANE to me that I am writing this post! I graduated this past weekend and it still feels so surreal. Muncie, Indiana has become my home and it’s strange that I won’t return to it in the Fall. Over my four years, I’ve met my future bridesmaids, changed my major, taken on several internships and jobs, gotten involved with multiple organizations, and so much more!
Ball State has given me so many memories. I remember going through sorority recruitment not knowing anyone, but falling in love with Alpha Omicron Pi. I remember getting breakfast with friends at 2am after late nights out. I remember tailgating before football games because let’s face it- Ball State isn’t known for its sports. I remember the dozens of themed parties I attended. I remember meeting my boyfriend at his fraternity house. I remember Spring Breaks, Homecoming events, and Formals. Working as an RA, late nights in the library, adopting a kitten, finding a big-girl job – it was all a part of the adventure.
These past four years have changed me in unimaginable ways and I’m so thankful for everyone that I’ve met along the way. Thank you to my parents for all of their love and support. Their love and guidance have molded me into the person I am today. Thank you to my amazing boyfriend who believes in me more than I believe in myself. Thank you Jake, for always pushing me to always be my best. Thank you to all of my incredible friends who could always put a smile on my face and for all of the memories. I could not have done any of this if it wasn’t for all of you! Although my time as a college student is over, I know that I’ll always carry these memories with me.
I’m honestly sad and scared to see college end and move away from all of my people. However, I know that there is so much more to look forward to.
I’m happy to announce that I accepted my first big-girl job as an Assistant Buyer at Follett Corporation in Westchester, Illinois! I can’t wait to learn more about the buying industry and gain experience. Cheers to this new chapter!!
